Yarrow
Once called “Herba militaris” and “herb for the wounded”, yarrow has been well known for its wound-healing and blood-staunching properties. The latin name “Achillea” references the Greek god Achilles. There are multiple tales detailing Achilles’s relationship with yarrow, but the most popular tells of how he frequently used yarrow on the battlefield to heal his compatriots. In fact, yarrow was still used in World War I for battlefield wounds. Think of yarrow as a great ally for physical, mental, & emotional resilience.
